Peugeot 3008 = 2017 COTY

Peugeot is tickled pink that it’s shapely SUV, the 3008, has just been announced as the winner of the Car of the Year for 2017. Judging was by a panel of 58 European journos who gave the 3008 the gong because of its accomplishments in styling, interior design and performance.

Not that this particular Pug is any stranger to being in the limelight – it’s already won 20 other trophies and this latest accolade is Peugeot’s 5th COTY award. But notably, the 3008 is the first ever SUV to claim the prize which has been up for grabs since 1969.
